Data Format rates

Organizations that submit or receive AGS Format data should register with the AGS as a ‘Data Format User’. Organizational registration covers all members of the organization.

Registered organizations are:
• authorised to transfer and receive AGS Data,
• able to use the AGS Format Logo on their reports,
• able to download example AGS files and abbreviation lists from the AGS website,
• included on the list of registered organizations,
• able to make suggestions for future editions of the AGS Format or additional abbreviations,
• able to submit new posts onto the discussion forum.

Student accounts will need to be registered to an @ac.uk domain.

An open source developer must be able to demonstrate the following:

    • Application: The code must support the AGS in its aims and principles
    • Transparency: Source code is publicly accessible.
    • Collaboration: Developers from around the world can contribute.
    • Flexibility: Users can modify the software to fit their needs.
    • Open Source Licence: The software can be freely shared and distributed.

To demonstrate compliance with the above, please provide a link to the remote repository that holds the code.

The repository must:

    • be publicly available and include a short description (readme) of the status and aims of the project.
    • contain advice on how to set up the development environment.
    • include open source licence terms and must allow users to fork the project.
    • contain a code of conduct for contributors to the project.
