Recent successes of the Working Group

• New beta version of the AGS Validator

The main topics / projects the Working Group are currently working on:

• Webinar in February 2024 on Data Management Plans and AGS data delivery timescales
• Working towards release of AGS 4.1.2 next autumn (had to push back due)

The topics / projects the Working Group will be looking at in the future:

• Working towards AGS 5 first meeting in May 2024
• Progress elements of AGS 4.2 release for new CPT groups, newsletter article in progress
• AGS data transfer in .JSON (web) not just .CSV (file) format, to be explored

Items for the Executive to consider/approve:

• Use of verbose exploratory location numbering – this is becoming ridiculous, even with bar-coding systems – 27 characters is not reasonable! Can the Geotechnical working group issue some sort of guidance please?
